He landed the TARDIS in the woods behind the vicarage, out of sight, discreet. He bounded up to the house and knocked before opening the door and poking his head inside. "Joseph?" he called. "Are you home?" He moved into the house, smiling widely. He gave the impression of bouncing, even if he was staying still. It was more an air of excitement held in tight control. "Joseph?" he said again. |

He kept careful track of the time between the Doctor's visits to, well, his doctor, though he did it discreetly, not bringing it up around his husband unless he had a good reason. He didn't want to seem overly worried, or to nag the man. Though when the time came, he was always firm about sending him off for his appointment.
He glanced at the man out of the corner of his eye and moved to the console, quickly setting the coordinates and putting the TARDIS in flight. |

He found his TARDIS with relatively little searching. While on the way, they also discovered that they were in America, Las Vegas to be precise. Which, well, rather explained their actions. Apparently people always did mad things like that in Las Vegas.
Well. Maybe not quite this mad.
He took his other self's hand as they neared the TARDIS, pulling him along with an excited grin. He opened the door and tugged him inside. "Make yourself at home," he said over his shoulder as he went over to the console. His fingers moved lovingly over the controls. "I'm back, old girl," he said softly. "I brought a... a friend. You don't know him yet, but this is me. He's going to be traveling with us." |
